90’s Alternative Rock Star Juliana Hatfield turns 56

Juliana Hatfield, singer and songwriter, was born in Wiscasset, Maine on July 27, 1967. She became popular in the Indie and Alternative Rock circuit of the early 1990’s and was part of several bands including Blake Babes and the Juliana Hatfield Three that released the 90’s Alternative Rock classic “Become What You Are” in 1993. At the time she was also widely known for her association with The Lemonheads and Evan Dando, playing and providing back vocals to the band’s best selling albums, the 1992 “It’s A Shame About Ray” and the 1993 “Come On Feel The Lemonheads”. Hatfield has been highly prolific throughout her career, which started back in the 1980’s, and recently she released her latest solo album, “Weird”, the 17th in her solo career.
