Actress Hilary Swank was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 30, 1974.  She started her professional career as an actress when she was a teenager in the early 1990’s, appearing in movies such as the 1992 “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and also on the hit tv series “Beverly Hills, 90210”. But it was with the 1999 acclaimed movie “Boys Don’t Cry”, where she played real life character Brenda Teena, that Swank rose to international stardom, winning an academy award for that role. During the 2000’s and 2010’s the actress solidified her career, appearing in “Million Dollar Baby” where once again she won the Academy Award for best actress. Other movies she appears are “P.S I Love You”, “The Core” and “You’re Not You”. She also starred on the TV series “Trust” in 2018. Currently one of Hollywood’s most in demand actresses, Hilary Swank turns 45 today.
