Released in 1990, “The Power” by German House and Techno band Snap!earned the duo international success. It reached No.1 on the UK singles charts on March 31, 1990, but also topped the charts worldwide, making to No.2 on the US Hot 100, only stopped to reach No.1 by Mariah Carey’s “Vision Of Love”. Snap! hits include “Ooops Up”, “Cult of Snap” and “Mary Had a Little Boy” all from their 1990 debut album “World Power”, and then in 1992 with “Rhythm is a Dancer”.
