The beautiful British actress Jacqueline Bisset turns 77
One of the most beautiful and seductive actresses to grace TV and movie screens since the 1960’s, the British Jacqueline Bisset was born in Weybridge, Surrey, England on September 13, 1944. She began her film career in 1965 coming to prominence in 1968 with roles in “The Detective”, “Bullitt”, and “The Sweet Ride”, but it was during the 1970’s her acting career took off by starring in “Airport” (1970) “Day for Night” (1973) which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, “Murder on the Orient Express” (1974), “The Deep” (1977), and “Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?” (1978) which earned her a Golden Globe nomination as Best Actress in a Comedy. The 1980’s continued to be generous for Bisset, who appeared in several TV shows and movies, and movies overall, including “Rich And Famous” (1981), the coming to age flm “Class” in 1983 alongside the young Rob Lowe and Andrew McCarthy and her Golden Globe-nominated role in “Under the Volcano” (1984) among many others. Since then, she has also appeared in many made-for-TV movies and in 1996, Bisset was nominated for a César Award for her role in the French film “La Cérémonie”, proving that her talent still grants her awards and nominations, which happens to this day. In recent years Bisset has appeared in successful TV shows including the 2006 “Nip/Tuck” as the ruthless extortionist James and more recently she played a recurring role in the American TV series “Counterpart” in 2017. Prolific, beautiful and talented, Jacqueline Bisset is a screen legend and today she turns 77.
