Born Victoria Anne Theresa Peterson Cowsill on January 11th, 1958 in Los Angeles, California, Vicki Peterson first rose to prominence as the guitarist for the Los Angeles Rock band The Bangles which she founded together with with her sister Debbi Peterson, and Susanna Hoffs. The Bangles enjoyed a worldwide wave of success during the 1980’s with songs such as “Walk Like An Egyptian”, “Manic Monday”, “Hazy Shade Of Winter” and “Eternal Flame”. After The Bangles disbanded in 1989, Peterson played with the Continental Drifters and The Psycho Sisters, in both cases alongside Susan Cowsill. Vicki Peterson turns 65 today
