Bon Scott lived fast, died young, and we are not sure if he left a good looking corpse, but he did left an enormous legacy to music and Rock fans everywhere in the planet. One of the most influential Rock singers of all time, Bon Scott was born in Forfar, Scotland on July 9, 1946. He joined AC/DC in 1974 replacing singer Dave Evans. It was the perfect marriage, Scott’s unique vocals fit the electrical AC/DC sound and soon the band became one of the biggest Heavy Metal acts in the world. Bon Scott lived life to the fullest and that meant excess in everything. On the early morning of 19 February, 1980 in London, England, he was found dead in a Renault 5 owned by a friend of his. Scott was only 33, and official cause was listed on the death certificate as “acute alcohol poisoning”. His death could had break AC/DC, but the band was able to find vocalist Brian Johnson to do Scott’s duties. But fans, never forgot Scott, and even today, some claim the Bon Scott years were AC/DC’s finest moments.
