Born on July 11, 1959 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Richie Sambora is one of the most talented and recognized guitarists of his generation. He joined Bon Jovi to replace their original guitarist Dave Sabo, climbing together with the band the path to worldwide fame and success as one of the biggest bands in the world. Together with lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, he formed the main songwriting unit for the band, writing memorable and timeless Hard Rock hits and Power Ballads ever since the early 1980’s. Despite leaving the band in 2013 and releasing three solo albums, it was during his 30 years time in Bon Jovi that he wrote the best songs of his career.
