Danny Glover turns 77



Born in San Francisco, California on July 22, 1946, Danny Glover is one of the most popular actors in the screen since the 1980’s. His acting debut in movies happened in 1979 with the movie “Escape from Alcatraz”, since then, he has starred in acclaimed movies such as the 1985 “The Color Purple” where he played a memorable role as the abusive husband of the Whoopi Goldberg character, and later in the action loaded “Lethal Weapon” movie series. Glover also appears in “Saw”, “Death at a Funeral”, “Witness”, “Predator 2” and just recently in “Jumanji: The Next Level”, among many others. Danny Glover is also an activist, who fights for numerous causes, including the working class rights. He started his activism during his time in the late 1960’s as a college student in San Francisco. Today Danny Glover turns 77.
