Rosanna Arquette turns 64

Part of the famous and talented Arquette family, Rosanna Arquette was born August 10, 1959 in New York. As most of her siblings Patricia, Alexis, Richmond, and David, it was during the 1980’s that she got some of her first relevant movie roles. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for her performance in the 1982 TV film “The Executioner’s Song”, but it was alongside Madonna in the 1985 “Desperately Seeking Susan” that Rosanna hit the mainstream. Her work in this 1980’s cult movie earned her a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. In 1985 she landed another important role in “After Hours” directed by Martin Scorsese. In 1994 she stars in one of the biggest movies of the decade, Quentin Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction”. With her career in full steam, in 1996 she stars in David Cronenberg’s “Crash”. Aside of being an actress, Arquette also adventured into other different areas of movies and TV. In 2002 she directed documentary “Searching for Debra Winger”, and starred from 2006 to 2007 on the ABC sitcom “What About Brian?”. Her latest movie, “Signs of Love”, was released in 2022.  Today Rosanna Arquette turns 64.
