Actress Geena Davis turns 68 today



Born on January 21, 1956, in Wareham, Massachusetts, actress Geena Davis first worked as a model before landing a small role in the 1982 film “Tootsie”. In 1988, she won an Oscar for her role in “The Accidental Tourist” and in 1991 gained attention for her role opposite Susan Sarandon in “Thema & Louise”. Later, appearing on television, she won a Golden Globe for the series “Commander and Chief”. Davis is also known for her roles in “The Fly” (1986), “Beetlejuice” (1988), “Earth Girls Are Easy” (1988), “A League of Their Own” (1992), “The Long Kiss Goodnight” (1996), “Stuart Little” (1999), and the horror TV series “inspired by” the best-selling William Peter Blatty novel “The Exorcist”, on Fox. Davis married Reza Jarrahy on September 1, 2001, the couple has three children together.
