The Ballad Of Alice “Super Duper Alice Cooper”

The persona that almost drove Vincent Furnier to death

The Ballad Of Alice “Super Duper Alice Cooper”

Vincent Damon Furnier aka Alice Cooper is one of the biggest pop icons of our time, he has been around since the 1960’s as a Rock Star, a shocker, a madman, a showman. It’s 5 decades of a wild story told in the first person in this spectacular documentary about his life. Born on February 4, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan, he rose to worldwide stardom during the early 1970’s, with songs we all know such as “School’s Out”, I’m Eighteen”, “Elected”, “Under My Wheels” or “No More Mr. Nice Guy”, Cooper has been able to stand an untouchable rock legend and pop icon to this day despite the ups and downs of his career, mainly his battle with addiction that nearly killed him back in the late 70’s. This documentary follows Cooper life from since he was a child to a Rock superstar all narrated by himself, which gives you the impression he is sitting there with you telling his tales and many adventures. With tons of archive footage and a well achieved animation in sync with the music and stories, “Super Dooper Alice Cooper” is an essential documentary to watch that will give you a better glimpse of the man behind Alice Cooper, and Alice Cooper the persona that almost drove Vincent Furnier to death until he was finally able to separate himself from the lunatic world where Alice “lived” in.
