Kurt Cobain 57th Anniversary Special

Born on February 20, 1967, in Aberdeen, Washington, Kurt Donald Cobain became known to the world as Kurt Cobain. He left a strong mark on Rock (and music in general) history, so much that there’s a before and an after Kurt Cobain period in Rock music. His “accidental” rise to fame happened during the early 1990’s as Nirvana became a phenomenon worldwide, part of the Grunge and Alternative Rock revolution. A talented artist, songwriter, musician and a passionate advocate for women’s and Gay rights, Cobain left the earthly plan by his own hand on April 5, 1994 at age 27. He now belongs to that “romantic” pantheon of the young and talented Rock Stars and artists but his strong influence can still be heard today and Nirvana music is more popular than ever. We’ve put together a special feature that includes two reviews of Nirvana albums “Nevermind” and “In Utero”, Kurt Cobain through his own words, 16 of the best Nirvana songs caught on film and video and two photo galleries including some rarely seen photos of Kurt.
