26 years ago today Madonna scores another No.1 with the electronic ballad “Frozen”
Written by Madonna and Patrick Leonard, “Frozen” was the first single taken out of the “Ray Of Light” album. The electronica ballad was one of Madonna’s biggest hits, a dark mood song that earned her once more the continuous title of Queen of Pop. In the United States, “Frozen” debuted at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100, and reached the second position of the chart on the issue dated April 4, 1998. In the United Kingdom, “Frozen” entered the UK Singles Chart at number one on March 7, 1998. It’s considered by many as one of the 1990’s greatest pop songs and remains fresh 26 years after it’s original release.
