On his 61st birthday, check out the Top 5 Quentin Tarantino films

Quentin Tarantino the famous director, screenwriter, and actor was born on March 27, 1963, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is the only child of Connie McHugh, who is part Cherokee and part Irish, and actor Tony Tarantino, who left the family before Quentin was born. Moving to California at the age of 4, Tarantino developed his love for movies at an early age. One of his earliest memories is of his grandmother taking him to see a John Wayne movie. Tarantino also loved storytelling, but he showed his creativity in unusual ways. “He wrote me sad Mother’s Day stories. He’d always kill me and tell me how bad he felt about it,” Connie once told Entertainment Weekly. “It was enough to bring a tear to a mother’s eye.” Tarantino’s films have garnered both critical and commercial success. He has received many industry awards, including two Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two BAFTA Awards and the Palme d’Or, and has been nominated for an Emmy and a Grammy. In 2005, he was included on the annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world. In December 2015, Tarantino received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to the film industry. Here are Quentin Tarantino’s 5 best films over his 30-year plus career.
