Born Uma Karuna Thurma on April 29, 1970 in Boston, Massachusetts, actress Uma Thurman it’s one of the most popular actresses over the last 30 years. Often hailed as Quentin Tarantino’s muse, Uma’s breakthrough role was in the 1994 director’s masterpiece “Pulp Fiction” where she played Mia Wallace. Prior to that, Uma, who also modeled earlier in her career, starred in the acclaimed 1988 movie “Dangerous Liaisons” and in the 1990 critical success “Henry & June” where she played writer Henry Miller’s wife June. Her collaboration with Tarantino continued in the successful “Kill Bill” movie trilogy (with the final movie still being expected) during the early 2000’s.
