Paul Di´Anno, born on May 17, 1958, in Chingford, London, emerged as a seminal figure in the realm of heavy metal as the frontman for Iron Maiden with his distinctive voice and charismatic stage presence. Di’Anno’s musical career began in the gritty streets of East London, where he cut his teeth in various bands before landing the gig that would change his life forever.
