The Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood was born on June 1, 1947, in Hillingdon, Middlesex, England. Before joining the Rolling Stones in 1974, Wood was a member of the Jeff Beck Group and The Faces (with Rod Stewart). Ronnie was the third full-time guitarist in the Stones, after the death of founding member Brian Jones in 1969 and departure of Mick Taylor in 1974.
