Born on June 4, 1944 in Long Beach, Califórnia, Michelle Phillips (born Gilliam) is today the only surviving member of the famous 1960’s Pop band The Mamas & The Papas. During the second half of the 1960’s, together with Mama Cass Elliot, John Phillips and Denny Doherty, Michelle scored a string of hit songs that have became timeless classics of pop music.With their unique blend of vocal harmonies, folk and sometimes psychedelic rock, The Mamas & the Papas sold millions of records worldwide. The band went separate ways towards the beginning of the 1970’s, but songs such as “Monday, Monday” or “California Dreamin'” remain as popular as ever.
