Chris Isaak turns 68 today
Best known for his hits “Wicked Game” “Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing” and “Blue Hotel”, Chris Isaak was born Christopher Joseph Isaak on June 26, 1956 in Stockton, California. His signature 1950’s rock & roll style, crooner sound and soaring falsetto earned him a contract with contract with Warner Bros. Records in 1985, where released his first album, the critically acclaimed “Silvertone”. During that period he caught the eye (and ears) of film director David Lynch, who since, has featured Isaak’s music on his films, giving him some memorable acting roles including in “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me”. His 1989 album,”Heart Shaped World”, included Isaak’s most memorable song, “Wicked Game”, that was later featured in the 1990 David Lynch film “Wild At Heart”. Isaak has also starred in movies including “The Silence of the Lambs” (1991), “That Thing You Do!” (1996), “Little Buddah” (1993) and The Informers (2008). His latest album “First Comes the Night”, was released in 2015. Chris Isaak (amazingly) turns 68 today.
