Jerry Hall was born on July 2, 1956, in Gonzales, Texas. She grew up in the Dallas suburb of Mesquite with her parents and four sisters. From an early age, Hall showed a keen interest in the arts, which later paved the way for her illustrious career in modeling and acting.
Hall’s entry into the entertainment industry began when she was discovered by a fashion agent while sunbathing on a beach in Saint Tropez. At just 16, she moved to Paris, where her striking looks quickly made her a favorite among top fashion designers and photographers. Hall’s modeling career took off in the 1970s, and she became one of the most recognizable faces in fashion, gracing the covers of magazines like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and Elle.
Jerry Hall’s notable modeling work includes campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent, Revlon, and Chanel. Her statuesque figure and distinctive features made her a sought-after model throughout the 1970s and 1980s. She also appears on the iconic cover of the Roxy Music’s 1975 album “Siren” and in music videos, most famously for Bryan Ferry’s “Let’s Stick Together” (1976), which showcased her captivating screen presence.
