Positively Ageless Performer Gwen Stefani turns 55 today

Today we celebrate this icon of music and style, Gwen Stefani who turns 55 today, which is very hard to believe given the No Doubt songstress hasn’t aged in more than 20 years. Gwen Renée Stefani was born October 3, 1969, in Fullerton, California, best known for being the frontwoman of No Doubt, Stefani came on the scene in 1991 at the age of 22 after co-founding No Doubt and signing to Interscope. With No Doubt, she released 6 studio albums and 6 compilation albums and over 33 million records have been sold.  The band came to prominence in 1995 with their second album, the best-selling “Tragic Kingdom” that spanned several hits including “Don’t Speak,” “Just A Girl,” “Spiderwebs” and “Sunday Morning.” No Doubt would switch musical directions after it but remaining as successful. The band won 6 MTV VMAs, and 3 Grammy’s for ‘Hey Baby’ and ‘Underneath It All.’  Stefani has certainly come a long way since her combat boot-wearing and mesh top-rocking days. The Voice coach can put a glamorous spin on any outfit, as we saw at this year’s Billboard Music Awards and Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, and isn’t afraid to stand out-in fact, her signature edgy-chic look is her trademark. Stefani started her solo career, with a music style distinctively different from the one that made No Doubt famous, in 2004 with her international hit record “Love. Angel. Music. Baby.” As a solo artist Stefani has won three Grammy Awards and Billboard magazine ranked Stefani the 54th most successful artist and 37th most successful Hot 100 artist of the 2000s decade. She would marry Gavin Rossdale (frontman for the group bush) in 2002, and they would have three sons together. Unfortunately, they would divorce in 2016. Today Gwen Stefani is dating her The Voice co-star country music singer Blake Shelton. At 55 positively ageless performer makes us wonder if she actually discovered the fountain of youth somewhere in SoCal.
