The daughter of acclaimed German actor Klaus Kinski, Nastassja Kinski was born in Berlin, Germany on January 24, 1961. Kinski’s acting career began in the mid-1970s, with her debut in the German film “The Wrong Move” (1975). She gained international recognition with her role in “Stay as You Are” (1978), which led to her Golden Globe-winning performance in Roman Polanski’s “Tess” (1979). Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Kinski starred in a variety of films that have now gained the “cult” status, including “Cat People” (1982), “Paris, Texas” (1984), and “Faraway, So Close!” (1993). During the 1970’s and 1980’s, German actress Nastassja Kinski came to prominence by appearing in several films that have now gained the “cult” status. Kinski has three children: a daughter, Sonja Kinski, from her relationship with producer Ibrahim Moussa; and a daughter, Kenya Kinski-Jones, from her relationship with musician Quincy Jones. A prolific actress, Kinski led a very active acting career up until 2013, the year her latest movie was released, “Sugar”. Nastassja Kinski celebrates 64 today.
