Craig Logan was born on 22 April 1969 in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. He first rose to prominence in the late 1980s as the original bassist in the British pop trio Bros, whose debut EP helped define the UK’s independent music scene. After leaving the band in 1989 to focus on songwriting and production, he co‑wrote Kim Appleby’s hit “Don’t Worry” and, at just 25, joined EMI Music as Vice‑President of International, overseeing campaigns for artists like Robbie Williams and Tina Turner.
In 1999 Logan transitioned into artist management, guiding careers for Sade, Joe Cocker and later co‑managing Pink. He moved on to become Managing Director of Sony BMG UK’s RCA Label Group in 2006—earning “Label of the Year” honors in his first year—before founding Logan Media Entertainment in 2011, with offices in London and Los Angeles. In 2022 he launched Tag8 Music in partnership with BMG, continuing a three‑decade trajectory as one of the music industry’s most influential executives.
