Eva Herzigová, was born on March 10, 1973, in Litvínov, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). She began her modeling career at the age of 16 after winning a beauty contest in Prague in 1989, which led her to move to Paris to pursue international opportunities.
Herzigová gained widespread recognition in 1994 as the face of the iconic Wonderbra campaign featuring the “Hello Boys” advertisement, which became a cultural phenomenon and significantly boosted her profile in the fashion industry. Following this success, she worked with major fashion brands such as Guess? Jeans and Victoria’s Secret, and graced the covers of prominent magazines including Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Beyond modeling, Herzigová ventured into acting, appearing in films like “Les Anges Gardiens” (1995) alongside Gérard Depardieu, “Modigliani” (2004) portraying Olga Khokhlova, and “Cha cha cha” (2013). She also participated in the opening ceremony of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, embodying the character of Venus.
In her personal life, Herzigová married Tico Torres, drummer of the band Bon Jovi, in 1996; the marriage ended in divorce in 1998. Since 2001, she has been in a relationship with Italian entrepreneur Gregorio Marsiaj, with whom she has three sons: George (born 2007), Philipe (born 2011), and Edward (born 2013).
Herzigová continues to be active in the fashion industry, collaborating with luxury brands and appearing in fashion editorials, maintaining her status as an enduring icon in modeling.
