Dennis Wilson, the freedom lover Beach Boy was born on this day in 1944

Dennis Wilson co-founded the Beach Boys with his brothers Carl and Brian as a drummer, but despite the band’s image and name he was the only real surfer on it. Dennis was a freedom lover and a bohemian, he crossed paths with Charles Manson and The Manson Family and recorded a cult masterpiece in 1977 “Pacific Ocean Blue”.
