The 1960’s counter-culture icon Country Joe McDonald celebrates 82 today
In 1967 with West Coast Psychedelic Rock band Country Joe & the Fish, Joe McDonald released the controversial anti-war anthem “The “Fish” Cheer/I-Feel-Like-I’m-Fixin’-to-Die Rag” that became emblematic of the 1960’s Woodstock generation as well as the Vietnam veterans of the 1960’s and 1970’s.
