The Rolling Stones play their first show without Charlie Watts at a private event hosted at Massachusetts’ Gillette Stadium 

It is not the first time in the Stones long history that they had to face the unexpected and the loss of a member. The original line up, who featured the founder Brian Jones, ended in 1969, and throughout the years, other members of the band, official and unofficial ones, left the Stones stage, some passed, and some simply left. On September 20, 2021, the Stones played a private concert which saw the debut of drummer Steve Jordan replacing the irreplaceable Charlie Watts.
